Emergency HVAC questions
Can I reach Vantage on a weekend?
Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 to 5, and we are closed Saturday and Sunday. Call (321) 666-8870 anyway and leave a message with your address and the problem. Reviews describe weekend calls that were answered. We cannot promise that every time, and if we cannot get to you in time, we say so.
My furnace quit tonight. What comes first?
Check for a gas smell or a carbon monoxide alarm before anything else. If you have either, leave and call 911. If not, check the thermostat, the furnace switch and the breaker, then call us and leave a message. Protect pipes by letting faucets drip and opening cabinet doors on exterior walls.
Is there an extra charge for emergency calls?
Ask us when you call. We publish no emergency rate and will not guess at one here. Tell us the problem and the timing you need, and we explain how the visit would be priced. We give you a clear quote before work starts, so nothing is a surprise.
When should I call 911 instead of an HVAC company?
Call 911 for carbon monoxide symptoms, smoke, fire, sparking, or anyone showing signs of heat stroke or severe cold exposure. For a gas smell, leave and call National Fuel at 1-800-444-3130 or 911 from outside. Call us once everyone is safe and the equipment is shut off.
